Chateau Castenet is located in Auriolles in the middle of the Entre-Deux-Mers region. It produces white, red and rose wines over 4 appellations: Bordeaux, Bordeaux superieur, Entre-Deux-Mers and Bordeaux Rose. Chateau Castenet has collected numerous awards and recognition for the quality of their wines.
The Estate dates from 1850 and was taken over in 2010 by Mylene and Guillaume, a younger couple that grew up in a wine production environment. Their aim is to make wines true to their terroir. They strive to make wines with as little intervention as possible, both in the cellar and the vineyard.
The 86 acres attached to the property spreads over 22 acres dedicated to the white wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle and Semillon) and 64 acres growing the “red” varietals.
