Vinification: Grapes undergo a long maceration of five weeks, in order to allow for a beautiful color and to extract the maximum tannins and aromas from the grapes. The wine was then transferred to new French oak barrels (French Cooper “Radoux Blend,” medium toasted) where it was aged for three years. After racking the wine, it was not filtered or fined prior to bottling, making it 100% vegan friendly.

Description:
Beautifully crafted, 1955 is medium to full bodied and impossibly elegant. Silky yet textured and complex it displays cherry and dark fruit notes which mesh with a hint of earth. The lingering finish is graceful, leaving a lasting impression.
