Soil: Fossiliferous Bajocien limestones, Jurassic (Oxfordian) strata of marly-limestone, and clays containing sandstone pebbles known as chailles.

Harvest: With about 30 acres of vines, the Domaine harvests Chardonnay grapes from different terroirs and blend them in different cuvees.

Vinification:

  • After the fermentation, the wine is aged for about 10 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks with regular steering.

 Alcohol content: 13.5%

Description: A pure expression of chardonnay. Bright, yet balanced acidity, with a nose of orchard fruit that follows through on the pallet, with a kiss of chalky minerality on the mouthwatering finish.
