Whiteface Lodge launches “Sophie’s Grace” cuvee

The Whiteface Lodge (The Leading Hotels of the World) in Lake Placid partnered with The French Corner and Chateau La Croix des Pins to create its own private label wine. Chateau La Croix des Pins was the first Estate that converted to Organic farming in the south Rhone region in the 90’s. The Domaine is led by Jean-Pierre Valade (picture) who is also the technical director for the IOC, the largest wine laboratory in France. “Maison du Languedoc” and The French Corner featuring Chateau Guilhem on 5th avenue, NYC

The French Corner will be joining talented winemaker Bertrand Gourdou from Chateau Guilhem (AOC Malepere, Languedoc) at “La Maison du Languedoc” on 5th ave in NYC, Tuesday March 31st. The event is organized by “Sud de France” to promote leading Languedoc wineries.

The event will be followed by a 2-day roadshow in NY, where Bertrand will feature his award wining red wine “cuvee Prestige”.

The Entre-Deux-Mers 2014 from Chateau Castenet wins the GOLD medal at the Concour General Agricole in Paris !

The news has just been announced ! The cuvee Entre-Deux-Mers 2014 from Chateau Castenet in Auriolles has received the highest distinction at the Concour General Agricole de Paris. This award is the last of a long list of recognitions earned by Mylene and Guillaume Guennec.

The French Corner currently carries the 2012 vintage of this wonderfull white Bordeaux blend (sauvignon blanc, semillon and muscadelle).

Now distributing Brigitte Chevalier’s Domaine de Cébène from Languedoc (AOC Faugères) !

Domaine de Cébène, a vineyard with a sense of place ! Brigitte Chevalier came to Faugères to make wine in her own, highly individual way.
